Marie-Sarah Adenis, designer (École nationale supérieure de création industrielle Ensci-Les Ateliers) and trained Biologist (École normale supérieure de la rue d’Ulm).

Marie-Sarah is creative director of a biotechnology enterprise that she co-founded : PILI, that develops new production technologies for renewable colorants based on the fermentation of microorganisms as opposed to petrochemical colorants. She teaches at the Ensad (École national supérieure des Arts décoratifs) and the Ensci where she initiates young designers to biology and biotechnologies, in order to invest and fertilise these new research fields with projections and productive imaginaries. Attached to highlighting biotechnologies in the textile field, she is a member of the Académie des savoir-faire de la Fondation d’entreprise Hermès. She is also a member of the artistic and scientific board of La Chaire Arts et Sciences (École Polytechnique, Ensad, PSL, Fondation Carasso).
